Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Got this June of 1944 Huffman civilian ladies bike today. I am pretty sure that an OA bath will bring it back to life, well that and a little work.

It's a keeper. I still don't understand why people would paint silver over a nice blackout hub.

I'm pretty sure a wood bleach bath would work well. Looking forward to seeing your progress. It's funny what some people did with their bikes back then, I've had perfect chrome wheels painted silver. I think some saw spots of rust and thought painting would stop it and sometimes it helped preserve the original finish.
