What a cool addition to the Forums! I had to throw in my 2cents!
My love for 3 wheelers is more towards ATC 250R's & 350X's, but ti's cool that Trike lovers have their space too!!
Me on a Trike I found by the side of the road in the trash...I helped it along View attachment 1266639
1965 Western Flyer (Murray) U-Frame 16", restored for son. Hours of WD-40 and 000 steel wool to get the rust off of that original paint and chrome. - Still looking for the 3" grips, but I have found the correct ball bearing rear wheels that I will put on once I get them fixed up.
As I get older, the tricycle has been more of a serious commuter for me, almost 70 years old my balance has gotten worse . I can still ride two wheels but with less confidence these days. So with that said, I have three trykes I've built from scratch. A collection I call The boothill express. The first I call the buckboard.
The second one I call the cowboy sheriff.
The third I call the blacksmith, each one packing gun props
At this point, I'm mainly focused on the latest tricycle I'm building. It's a e-trike 48vdc with a single speed freewheel. Which is a good thread where I can show it's progress?
