I need help with this western flyer badged bike I have. I think the serial number is H551867. Any clue who made it and when? It came with a fender but I am not sure that it is correct either.

I have seen a 1955 Huffman built WF, but the stamp was on the chain tensioner of a different style; could it be a 1945 maybe? Western Auto did adopt a modified version of the fits-sooner safety-frame (tankless). Monark or Murray?
Evans had some square fenders, perhaps Columbia too. 1946 Shelby?

So a local guy said that the crank is a huffman but wasn't sure about the bike frame itself. I am assuming the first guy was wrong because he said it was a CWC frame. Anybody else have a clue where I can search for more on this frame?
