Take a look for yourself. Believe it was repainted? Only reason I say this is because it's in such nice condition. It was in a regular box wrapped in paper so well protected. I don't 100% know for sure. Batteries were installed when I opened it up. No acid leaking whatsoever!
No rust, no pitting, no dents. Come's with 2 different style front lens's. The one shown installed is a reproduction & another which is show along with the original dated Sept 1949 Eveready batteries.
