A242286 / C11. Your guess is good. Frame made November 1936. I have notes of December produced frames being built up before this one, but the serial number has to have been allocated before the end of 1936, A266083 was the last 1936 frame, built Dec 31st. So yours was built up sometime in mid December.
I don't have any useful comparisons for you. All the Meads I have are the earlier frame style, this is the first of this style.
