Does anybody know what year my Westfield bike is from? I found out the year of my other two bikes and my Schwinn Twinn with special thanks to Bill Smith. Here are some pictures of the Westfield.
What about that W/W head badge. I usually associate the vertical hole badges, (and aluminum and 1/2" chain) with later years.
Was "The Westfield Mfg. Co." (with the "The") after the Torrington reorganization; I thought that occurred about 1933?
Westfield re-used letters, and the dual E-bracket and #-bike, may indicate later.
According to my notes an E9-bracket/C-bike might be Sept. 1938; a G-bracket/E-bike would be 1940.

I cleaned the frame in front of the serial number and I think I see a “c”? Included a picture of it and a racer marking on the down tube between the head and crank tubes. Wood rims are narrow like three speed English bike I have and seen to be made out of one piece of wood curved and joined together in a zig-zag pattern. Also I included a picture of the stamp on the front rim. Thanks all.
