What are some good books to have

I don't have very much knowledge about bikes I have the general idea changing tires and chains are not a problem. I have some trouble with hubs and using different crank sets is there a good book out there that I could buy that will help me out thanks. I know I can get any questions answered here but this is stuff I need to know.

its kinda spendy,dont know where u are but in my city if you take the authors name and the title of the book the ibrary wil carry it,no charge!!

Although first printed in 1973 this book has been reprinted many times. This copy is from the 21st printing I bought in 1994. I still see it on eBay. It's not Sutherlands but is also far cheaper. Coaster brakes, 2-speeds, 3-speeds and cranks etc are covered.

The book is 8 1/2" x 11" and has 337 pages.
