I finally got to ride the 36’ Iver Johnson. This is only the second vintage bike I have ever ridden any distance at all. Compared to the 37‘ DBR Roadmaster it is heavy and super solid feeling. The hub is Marrow rear and Iver front. The cranks are super smooth zero vibration in this bike. I can’t imagine this bike performed any better when new other than some loose pedal blocks. That being said the extra 5lbs (45 vs 40) and longer wheelbase and higher bottom bracket make it less nibble than the DBR CWC Roadmaster. The CWC is better on gravel and just bombing along hanging it out on loose turns ! This Iver is a great Asphalt trail traveler for me.
I kind of like the match ups and comparos. Only guy here likely that has never ridden a vintage Schwinn. I ran out of parts on a DX build but it’s going to be next bike up for a comparison. I got 14 miles on the 36’ Iver Johnson Moto Bike that never had a tank :)

Already starting to get a little annoyed with the cool weather and Damm just realized it's getting dark earlier, well broke out my 58 HD Hornet Deluxe for a ride over to the Wed. car show, came across around 8 buildings wrapped for gas, never seen that many at once.

I Built up a 34/35 Girls Schwinn for My Wife we rode 6 Miles for a shake down ride and experienced no issues today as I took my time going through it with no shortcuts all I have to do now is get the weird banjo chain guard on and done.
I’ll look for a period correct Basket for her. As I’ll be retired in a few weeks I look forward to more daily rides with Her.
She rode it easily as I was trying to keep up with her.
