I bought this Raleigh brand new around 1983 or 84 and had it till about 5 years ago when I gave it to my son in law. I rode it today and can say without a doubt that both my 73 Continental and 74 Le Tour have a superior ride quality over this Raleigh. Still a nice bike but not as nice as my Schwinn 10 speeds.
Rode with my Sweetheart on The Northern Rail Trail through Andover and Wilmot today. Started at Potter Place turned around in Danbury 4 miles out, then headed back. A little over 8 miles total. An absolutely beautiful day to be out on the trails. Stay safe and have fun. Hammerhead
Withdrew my '42 Shelby Hiawatha due to lack of interest today. Then I threw it together as a Klunk-Rat and headed out for a nice cruise down to the Yacht harbor. Part of the trail down there through the park was actually dirt, first dirt any of my Klunker builds have seen besides my driveway.
Some friends came over and we went down to the super girl pro surf contest here in Oside! Lots of cool bands and stuff to check out, surf was pretty small but still fun for the girls!!
