Happy for you @Che! Can’t wait to see the cool bikes you put together.

Took an easy ride around the lake tonight with Philthy. Heat is starting to finally wane at night.

My wife had taken 15 yr old grandson( who lives with us) to Dr. this morning. Got call on way back he had appendicitis and needed to get him to hospital in Seattle. I hurriedly rode back to van and drove rather fast home, only to be greeted by my wife, who tells me they made a mistake?! Doesn’t need to to hospital, just badly inflamed. I’m relieved, thankful, but how do you make mistake like that? But glad they did. Still was able to ride 25 mi today.

@RidinRelics Hope your Grandson is going to be OK Scary situation and I know the feeling of not knowing and rushing

Quick shakedown ride around the hood on my new to me ‘62 Typhoon while the rain held. Mostly good with exception of the rebuilt 2 speed red band hub which developed some slop after only 10 minutes of riding. Not sure how I take it out as I believe a special tool is needed to adjust it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Also a massive thank you to @Skiroule69 for packing the bike so well (his first attempt) and ridding me of my Schwinn double straight bar obsession.

For the loose kickback...
First, take the wheel off the bike, hold the brake arm and try to turn the drive side cone with a wrench. This is just to make sure that internal jam nut is actually locked. If that's loose, there is a thread on here about how to make your own tool from a regular socket. If the jam nuts are all tight, simply adjust from the brake arm side.
