Moderate rain by PNW standards and temps at mid 40’s.
I drool at multi geared prewar Klunkers and middleweight cruisers but without fenders it would be a soaker.
I like to stop for an hour and idle on the World Wide Web. Good time to dry out a layer too!
I rode a 50’s Schwinn straight bar today. Got an early start today. Had to find my headlight , it had a green light showing charged and it turned on ok.
Got to the trail, turned the headlight on and the charge light was red! Well I had just drove 35 min to the trail , so I was riding. It was barely getting light in the distance so turned on the headlight on lowest possible setting with the strobe going (for more energy saving) and took off.
Long story short, it all worked out…Changed the tires and grips to black this morning, (which was my plan all along.But I had gotten impatient waiting for them and put the clay ones I had , on it, to get it rideable.

Happy Saturday!
Took out the 1936 Western Flyer today,
down to the beach, then north to Sunset Beach,
around the loop and back to HB to meet more riders, but no good pics;
rode to Newport Beach for Brunch, then rode around, til i had to leave the group for home. 40 miles for this tank today;
more fun than should be allowed.

First time ever on a cycle truck. Really gets you at first that the basket doesn’t turn with the wheel lol Optical illusion that the wheel isn’t turning lol. Got it a week ago from @coasterbrakejunkie1969. Really nice condition. Youngest bike in the collection by far. Fun ride around the neighborhood. Easy on hills gearing.
