Rode the mystery French TOC machine on the new/old rebuilt clincher woodrim wheelset today, just a little 8 mile ride to see a friend and swap parts.
Rides very well, fixed gear, and the newly repaired plunger brake now works after a fashion, but I wouldn't call it very efficient!
Took a ride out to Sandstone Ranch today on the 37 Dayton. The geese were a-honkin' today. No red-winged blackbirds seen, but perhaps a few sparrows. My buddy Eric helped me straighten the kickstand so it sits more upright. Nothing like a cold bend in the winter.
Out on the "Ciclos Minaco I" today.
30 mile spin whilst the weather was fine.
A bit of regular winter flooding on the River Thames, as seen in the village of Preston Crowmarsh.....
...nothing like what you guys have been experiencing over in California though.
Today, it was raining when i left, but was supposed to stop soon...
my rain coat leaks, 13 gal. trash can liner worked perfectly.
The rain stopped. I rode to church from here.
Sweetie brought me dry socks & shoes; rode to lunch and home from there, 24 miles, Heavy Duty/Always Ready '40 Western Flyer.
