After rebuilding the Morrow coaster hub and making other small adjustments I got out early today for a shakedown ride on my 36. Smooth and quiet ride.

Pizza luce. They have it so you start wherever in the twin cities and just ride to all their different locations, you can sign up and get like a shirt and some free beer and pizza at specific places but you don't haft to. Nice ride by the way!

I rode the 1943 Schwinn, Excelsior at the Cyclone Coaster monthly vintage bicycle ride.
Some nice looking bikes showed up.

This beautiful 39 DX Ace fresh from the paint booth.

Rueben showed up with an accessory item I was unfamiliar with,
These Persons handlebar truss bars.

I’m not sure why, but I’ve never noticed this type of strut before.
Pretty cool!

This Hawthorn Balloon Tire model had the fattest metal clad wood rims I’ve ever seen.

I thought it was fitting that a fresh Blue Phantom from the Bob Uzsaszi Studio showed up after all the chatter about the validity of these models.

1935 Henderson and 1939 Mead Ranger Zephyr. Did a little over 15 miles on one trail, and then hopped over to a nearby trail for another 7 miles. Unfortunately it started raining on the second trail, but it quickly caused an ethereal fog to form on the Chattahoochee river.
