Currently working through a new bike for my wife. She likes men’s bikes. Almost exactly a year ago we acquired this 1955 DX 24”, which i converted to run 26” wheels and ultimately an 8 speed and front drum.

First acquired.

Fenders bobbed and fitted, 8 speed and front drum. She road it like this all the rest of last year and early this summer.

And decided she wanted something older.

Swapping parts over for a test run.

Found some fenders in the shed I’ve had for a decade.

And decided she wanted to try a mens seat.

Ever evolving! She’s extremely happy with the change over. And excited to continue to improve it! Looking for a tank!

Just noticed the chain guard on the green one, what's the guard say? I've got the 55 BFG sister to it.

Since I can not possibly ride a bicycle and the rusty cranks didn't even want to come off the bike, this was a slight oversight on my behalf.
Once again, Thanks to OKC Chop Shop this crank arm has been totally coerced.
No heat applied, brute force only. Job gone well...back up 2 speed.
Take away this ball and chain.
