Current project for the RRB build off.
1960 24" Girls Rollfast. Current mock-up. Just started to wrap the seat, tank, and fenders in black leather. Planning on a dark metalic red for the paint

Finished wrapping the front fender. Went with leather instead of the vinyl. So ill be re-doing the rear fender in leather as well. Ordered new chrome braces for the front. Very happy with how it's turning out.

Update:

The cut/bob on rear fender.
The hand rough cut turned out well. Not wanting a ducktail on this one I decided to use the bottom/rear of the front fender as a template. Goal was to match fender tip to brace distances. Now the hand filing begins before the fender is ready for finish work and paint!

Finally after a week and a half of being down with Covid, yesterday was the 1st day back in the shop. Back to working the sheet metal, and exploring a couple ideas.
Primer and prep is coming along while also getting other things lined out. Really starting to like the lines on this one, keeping in mind it will sport a Full front fender when done.
The 2nd pic here (love it, or hate it) is the rough cut start on the chain guard, next the metal work to finish it! Also needs just a bit more arch on the front cut.

The 50 SC-X
I'm still one of those guys that enjoys building bikes using traditional parts, as well as collecting them!
The mods are done, everything fits right and works like it should.
Time to blow it back apart for finish work and paint! Ha, kinda looks cool in black and grey primer.

That chain guard mod is very cool in my opinion, hard to come up with unique ideas. I’ve never seen this done before. Nice to see someone building customs with traditional parts. Nice job!

Got her painted and partially back together for 1 last mock-up before the fenders, seat, new grips rear rack and a pair of saddlebags in back and a leather tool bag up front. It's cloudy so the pictures are a bit darker then in person.
