a 1940s road master whizzer bike frame, kinda rusty. glass beads, sand, or coal? Thank's Marty

I generally use sand/silica or walnut shells. Sand is a bit more abrasive than the walnut shells. Walnut shells are slower, but gentler on old metal. I wouldn't use glass beads on vintage bike stuff, it's pretty aggressive and can really warp fenders.

Good luck!

coal? never heard that! sounds messy! I guess you could build a fire with the coal and throw the frame on top and burn the old paint off:p
