I've had good luck with Shipbikes lately.

If i dont move the bike myself, have used ship bikes successfully in the past. Use lots of packaging and ship in two boxes for best results. My shipping with them using one box was less than stellar.

I use both, shipbikes is not always cheaper depending on location and bikeflights includes twice as much insurance at no extra cost.

I personally always ship thru FedEx. Really it’s all about how you package it. That’s another topic.

Amtrak is an option for something bulky or heavy. I would never ship a bicycle with Amtrak again!! Motorcycle engine or frame is fine if crated.
