Hello! Just brought home an old bike that I absolutely love, but I have no idea what it is or when it was made. Is this a Monark? 1940? 41?

There is a picture of the model / serial number too.

Any information that you could share would be great!!!

Looks like a Postwar Monark, sold by Firestone Tire stores. It's kinda tough to make out the serial number, but this list might help:

Look like it's lived it's life at the beach so I'd just tune & tires and back to the beach to start with.
 
The ID tag was only used from 1946 - 54. Search the forum for posts on Oxalic Acid (OA) baths, much of the color will come back!
