Finally riding a big boys bike
Hey Cabers,

I may potentially buy this bike. All i have is this pic alone. I don't have the bike. A buddy reached out to me because he knows I love to lose money and time playing with bikes while I restore them. So he sent me this pic so he can buy for me. What are your thoughts?

It looks like the seat post clamp might have been replaced(?); not sure about the front forks. Not early post war, obsolete by the late 1950’s.
 
I agree with MRG, that bike looks very similar to the 26” Mercury built Murray I picked up a few weeks ago. The front spring assembly looks different as well we the obvious front fender being backwards like Phantom said. It looks like a skip tooth too.
