Hi this has me stumped. Steel frame with white stylized letter decals say Cycleworks and Climax. Seat tube stickers say Designed in USA and Handmade in Japan. Shimano XT group set so I figure higher end model but can't find any info. Component date codes for 1990. (Ps. saddle, pedals, bar ends are after market). Any info on the manufacturer appreciated!

It's just one of the many private label names I would see at the Interbike and CABDA (industry bike shows) in the late 80's - early 90's. Most would import bikes for 2-3 years and then just fade away.....
Given the model name, very apropos
