Look Ma, No Hands!
Not interested in value, unless it’s great news I’m interested in who made it and when they made it. I would like to know so I can see what is supposed to look like. I’ve been Google researching and haven’t found much useful information about it. It might be a Vagabond Featherweight?
The serial number and another batch of numbers are under the crank. The serial number looks like a Schwinn and bikehistory.org search said it was a 1956 Chicago Schwinn, but I’m being a skeptic about that. It has a Schwinn seat.
Bendix coaster brake. I couldn’t find any stamped numbers on it.
Has this been rattle can painted? Can you tell?

What is it? Can you send me pics or links to a similar bike? Any help is greatly appreciated.

1966 Huffy built should have Western Flyer badge.

stezell, thank you for the info and the link. Now I can search 66 Huffy and hope to find details about this bike.

Not sure if I can link in the forum or from Etsy, but here is a try anyways.
I think this is very similar to my Firestone.

Etsy 66Huffy

map it appears mine is a 1966 Huffy Sportsman, probably red originally. Seem about right?
Does the serial number help with where it was made? Any other information I should find out? I’m thinking of a repaint and new striping, if I can find enough details. Any thoughts on this? Advice? I’m a complete newbie working on bikes.

Probably original paint, the red underneath is primer. No collector value, so you can fic it up however you like!
