what is this frame .... SHELBY????

I just found this at a local sale, needless to say a bit of a hodgepodge of parts, mostly good. Hawthorne chain ring , cool bars . Prob going to go threw it and build a cool Klunker. Anyways guessing possibly a Shelby made frame ??
Been sitting like you see it for 40 yrs!

Yep, with a CWC springer fork.

I believe that AMF (think CWC) bought Shelby in 1953; so some bikes about that time might mix things (?).
