What is this Schwinn?

Bought this at estate auction. It’s a restore by someone. No serial number I can find. Decal says American, but cant find this in any catalog. 20in. wheels. Cool little bike in excellent condition. Cool color combo.

the serial should be on rear drop out or under the bottom bracket I dont see one on the head tube near schwinn badge so it is latest 1971 but has chicago on head badge so no earlier then 1965. the chan guard looks odd ill look around and see. They may have made 20 inch fleet or something with that tank.

I dont believe they ever made a 20 inch american. I think it is a late 60's fleet the lower end handle bar stem leads me to think that as well. Either way great bike boys 20 inch always in demand

The KA xxx shows 0ct 12 1965, it may have been cast in 65 and built in 66' as an actual bike.I see a 24 inch tire American no 20 inch but a Fleet in 20 inch tire the J75 may indicate something i do not see. I keep being corrected when i give bad info so the fact I haven't yet I may be correct. The guys on the west coast just getting up haha
