what oil do you use on your ND Model D?

30 wt is what the SKIDKING recommends...Makes the hub stop on a dime ....Not too much though ...brake discs put in a plastic sandwich bag,add some 30 wt ,shake about,dap excess on towel install...outer clutch housing ,drive screw all get light covering of 30 wt oil ...

I've had hubs that I didn't feel like regreasing, so I squirted some 3 in 1 oil into the cap. And I just read on Wikipedia that it was originally designed for bicycles 120 years ago, so there.

In all seriousness Jones, I clean up the discs and soak them laying apart from one another in oil while I clean the rest of the parts....its not your blow up doll though, dont oil it until its a slip and slide...ya still got bearings that need grease!
