What tires will fit my mead?

I just bought this mead crusader off a fellow caber, and I would like to get it rideable. What kind of tires will fit these wheels, they’re 28in metal rims, I took photos of the various measurements of the wheels. Thank you for the help!

A MEADium tire.
seriously, a 28 X 1.5 single tube (Robert Deans)
those are not clincher rims.
a 700c x 35-40
or 28" Raleigh 28 X 1.5"

Would these ores need to be glued on? If so what kind of glue? Thanks for the help!

You can buy sew-up glue, or some folks have had luck using double face carpet tape.

I have a wheel like yours with a Wards Riverside Runabout war tire on it.
