I just purchased a Wards Hawthorne skip tooth pre war bicycle and I would like to know what year it was made. The numbers on the bottom bracket are as follows: G60694. Can anyone please help me identify the year and possibly model of this bike? Thank you in advance.

Agreed, this style frame was built from '45 -'54. The prewar bikes had 'ears' for a drop stand built into the rear dropouts.
