Built by Huffman Corp (Huffy) for Sears, whose dept store brand was "J.C. Higgins". I have never seen a Sears version of an adult size Huffy cruiser from this era. Murray was so much cheaper that Huffy and Schwinn could not compete. They were barely competitive on the kids bikes, price wise for Sears. Sears was like the "Walmart" of back then.

The correct serial number for this bike will be on the outside of the rear axle mounting area, on the frame. It probably begins with "0H", which would mean 1960.

Value is about $50 as is. Spruce it up, clean it, replace the pedals, update grips, and add new tires you may get $100 out of it. That's I sell them for here, but again having a lot of local bike trails help to sell bikes for a lot more.
