Cruisin' on my Bluebird
For a whole bike and for a single part?

I think I may not be alone in having paid more for a part. I've had good luck with accumulating many bicycles, and many for reasonable prices. Needless to say, there's a bit of a disparity between the two.

Bicycle: 250$ '38 Wards Hawthorne Zep

Part: 375$ Original, complete Colorflow tank

I paid $400 for this "62 Corvette.

I did a complete detailing on it and sold it back to the same seller for $450.

Parts...I can't be sure because if I "need" it, the price is secondary! In the long run, a project worthy of excess dollars deserves to have correct parts to make it complete. I have traded completed bikes for lesser bikes just to get certain parts for a project (frames, tanks, etc.)

$900 + shipping for the '38 Roadmaster.

$200 for a tank, sold it later for exactly the same price to a member.

$14785.97

16" huffy sweet thunder. was lucky to get it too!

Sweet Thunder sure is SWEET!

I'm not saying on the bike side, but I have paid $750 for a nice Huffman Zephyr tank!
