Where are the 4 digits ?

I know that on a 1968 schwinn fastback the rear tire is supposed to have 4 digits to determine the week and yr the tire is made but this is the Only numbers on my original rear tire, how do I determine date ? The tire is original from the 1968 bike, I should know I bought this bike with my newspaper route money at the bike shop in 1968 and never changed it

I have a few westwind tires and a Stingray Slik , I'm looking for info on how to read manufacture date. Is it as simple as month and year?

The date code is the 3 circles with dots in the quarters. I can't see the first circle. From what I see the tire is the last quarter of 1968

Now I'm confused, according to the middle circle of dots which is exactly my tire in picture I posted, mine has 3 dots in all 4 quarters this shows 1964 to 1966 how did you get 68? 68 looks like the far right circle marked 68, with only 2 quarters having dots ? just asking here thanks

Ok I just took a better pic with all 3 circles showing please explain how this reads late 1968 ? I don't understand the chart posted

Oh wait I think I get it now my tire was made in late 1967 since there are no dots in the 3rd circles quarter ?

Yes and that makes sence because I bought bike in may 68 although if you look close to the circle with no dots where the crack is there's a space were one dot may have been making it a 1st quarter 68
