Where is the serial number?

Thinking about trying to get this rolling again... it's a Westfield.
For some reason I can't find the serial number... shouldn't it be on the BB?

Looks to me like a 36, you're right I don't see anything

I'll take a closer look. If it was an A or a '38 then the number would be on the BB right? Just wondering if I should be looking elsewhere.

If you lightly sand the (non-original) paint off of the bottom bracket, then you might see the serial number stamping.

Here are some more pictures. Most of what you see is bare metal and I believe that the paint that is showing is original. I don't see any trace of a number.

Pull the crank. Might be something on it but that is Odd
