Brian R.

Wore out three sets of tires already!
I'm picking up this kerosene lamp on Friday. It's a bicycle lamp because it has the word "bicycle" stamped in the metal, but I've never seen a mount like this before. It looks like it might require some kind of rod instead of a flat mount. Can anyone post a photo of the type of bracket this mounts onto, please and thank you?

Brian … the U.S.A. marked lamps are a tough find.
Designed specifically for WWl military bicycles.

But … any of the brackets are near impossible.

Do a CABE search --- Neverout Oil Lamps ….
If I knew how to post a link .. I wooda …..

You can go to ebay … all categories … and type-in
Neverout Lamps ….. there's most always a variety
of lamps … but those brackets … (occasionally one
is listed there) … scarce as an eel that needs boxing gloves.

….. patric

There are several variations of the Auto / Carriage type.
Motorcycle and Bicycle type is used on WWl military bicycles..

Thank you Patric! That third one is the one I need. If anyone reading this has one and doesn't need it, you can turn it into cash! Just pm me please. If none appears, I will have to think about having one made, maybe by welding a rod onto some kind of bracket I can scrounge. I have some carbide lamps mounted on bikes, but really wanted a nice kerosene one so I can actually use it and light up the bike path on evening rides.
