Rebuilt engine (J217818) Crank machined -.040 Cylinder Std. new piston and rings, Rebuilt carb. Tall Breather

Re-chromed 5” Rear drum brake, Re-chromed Schwinn front drum brake

New dimpled Lobdell rims with 0.100 stainless steel spokes, new Carlisle tires

Chrome parts re-chromed or replaced with NOS, cad parts re-plated

Tank boiled and sealed

Stainless steel Sheave with brackets

Chrome Belt Cover

Powder coated pan, re-upholstered leather Maroon embossed saddle seat

Manual clutch with EZ glide kit

New Echo tube, cables, Belts, Rear stand, fender braces

Few questions. Price? Other curiosity is (I'm 68, should know answers[emoji16])
What did they cost new (roughly)? What was the market back then (young, old, purpose)?
I'm thinking a kid would have to have well-to-do parents to afford one.
I'm assuming on flat level they would go, what, 20 mph? Horsepower maybe 2-3?
How many sold?
Sorry for all ?s...just knowledge.

Yes I know that's why I post my mind of this example! Not too many people have known about this fact!!! Only think in Schwinn Monark etc frames! Cool bike nice example!!!

I’m not for sure, but I’ve heard the Whizzer built frame had gussets at the frame neck.

I believe the gussets on the frame neck were on the Ambassador and Sportsman frames. Not on the Pacemaker. At least that’s the case with mine. Vince
