I have been watching this and I knew despite the low level bidding at first that it would get some last minute attention.
It did, but not nearly what I thought it would.

I'm 99% sure it is the New Departure Model B motorcycle style coaster hub....

Any thoughts from other cabers?
Anyone else bidding?
I heartell the losing bidder asked the seller to sell it to him for more $ after the auction...womp -

What an amazing find. I am pretty obsessed with belt drive motorcycle parts! Is the rim a 28x3 rim? Well 28x3 refers to the tire size...rim size would be like 22 inches. Regardless such a cool score. Thanks for sharing the cool pictures jeese.

So the ad I think is ca. 1910, this version of the ND Model B was likely closer to 1906/7 and was a bit more primitive in design and closer to the A.

Rim is actually a 2” wide single clincher, first gen!

Here is a comp shot of a ND A arm next to the B arm.

That's a pretty uncommon A arm as well (non script and relief is smaller than most)
