Wiebolt's 1930's Wampun Club Magazine for kids

Wiebolt's was another one of the many companies that sold Schwinn bicycles with their own dealer badge mounted on them. While researching the company I found and bought a couple Wampun Club Magazines that Wiebolt's put out for kids. When their parents purchased something for $1.00 or more they would get a Wampum coin that the kids could save up and purchase toys with. I thought the magazines were cool so I thought I'd share them with you. I sure would've loved them when I was a kid. Learning smoke and hand signals would be cool! Barry

When I was a kid I got a bunch of Shredded Wheat Injun-uity cards at a flea market. They were a lot of fun and sent me on the hell bound train of making stuff I am still on:

Been in Wieboldt's many times during the 59's and 60's. I think it was the first store I saw an escalator in.

Wiebolts opened in 1959 in Meadowdale Shopping Center in Carpentersville, IL. we shopped there.
