Finally riding a big boys bike
Hi everybody looking for some help on a old wind up rotary Bell.
It can wind and release but I'm having a hard time getting the hammer adjusted into the right position.
I was wondering if anybody had any literature or experience in getting that hammer bent and set in the right spot.
also any pointers on having the Bell top secured to the screw so that when it does actuate it doesn't spin itself off

Thanks!

Yeah, I’ve got a few of those bells with various issues like that.
At least it sounds like yours holds it’s wind until the button is pushed.
If just getting the gong set in the right position is the only problem, then I would think that subtle trial and error adjustments will suffice.
A dab of blue Loctite on the threads will fix the top in place.
