Mark VI

Look Ma, No Hands!
I need help ID'ing this bike guys. I love it but can not find any information on it. I rode it down the street it and it rides great!
The previous owner was a missionary in Malawi Africa and this bike was donated to his Mission, he liked it soo much he brought it home with him hence the "All Terrain" tires and removed front fender. He said it rubbed with those 2"ers on.

All I know is it's a Colombia made? Headbadge says Wings Marathon, Goodyear T&R Akron Ohio.

I'm looking for any and all information, including YEAR and accessories it could of had.. im a sucker for accessories including lights.

From the serial # I was thinking 6/4/48 but not sure. What info can I pull off of those #s?

So if im not mistaken, it's a 1941? Looks like they started that year with G5000 and ended it with G17433 my bike was probably made in the middle of that year im thinking. Sound right guys?

Forgot about those wartime serial number anomalies; (was going by 1 year per letter).

So in 1941, Westfield may have built ~220 thousand bicycles, and the G—10K serial number may be among the last ~7K or so, (last couple of weeks).

Ok cool. Should be a '41 then. This baby is an excellent candidate for an OA bath and a good waxing. Im gonna ride it. Moves great. Gonna get some non WW tires to make it correct.
