My sister did some in the past with elgin and henderson badges, came out nice but aren’t dryer friendly as the image will crack

What were these All-American badges used on?

I was told they were used on light weight bicycles just before and during WWII. The hat was supposedly uncle Sam throwing his hat into the ring for WWII.

The symbol was also used on fighter planes.

Also found on deluxe balloon bikes, the most legendary being Mark Matteis old 1941 All black Cantilever BA 607 bike

As it goes... anything could happen with much of this bike stuff
