I do some research on it but couldn’t find a woman’s one. I thought asking people who know there stuff is a research tool. Once I know this kind of bike and what’s it worth I don’t ask again. again this is research. Asking questions is how one learns and reading as well. I think this is a 1935’s bike but not sure and again that is why I am asking in a thread with multiple experts ;)

If you do a forum search for ladies Silver King they're all over the place, whole, parts, etc.. Definitely a parts bike.

Here was a quick search just using the term "Silverking". There was 16 pages worth and I'm sure if you went through these you would have a good idea of both year and value. Not trying to be a Richard here but for someone to just keep asking "year/value" tends to wear thin. Wishing you the best on your picks and hoping you learn to appreciate and enjoy classic bikes for more than just the $$. V/r Shawn

i would say a 35 as well because of the badge and lugs, but i have a faint memory it could be a late year 1934 as well. However, from what I have seen in value, on this type of bike I dont think the year is what really makes a difference. Resale on a female silverking is tough and even tougher on the frame/fork/fender light. I would estimate it worth cleaned up for all 3 bits - $80-100 MAX ... you can go on ebay right now and see girls frames sitting for months that are pristine compared to this one.

i agree with freqman though - when you put "picker" in your screen name... kinda gives away intentions :D

You’re right on both points, @volksboy57
I should have added that it’s a nice bike. And I hope OP profits nicely from it. It’s a good service to assist cleaning out late grandpa’s hoard, and get these machines into our hoards, where they can be appreciated once again. I do think there should be some give and take, though.

Thanks @Blackbomber I think it is always good to give advice, especially if you know you have the right information. I appreciate @2BrothersPicks sharing his bike and asking questions. I can see the other side, that people should do a search through the forums first, as this is a great resource we have! It is quick to get an answer from someone, but it does add a lot of clutter for other searches.
