Are These Racing Wheels as Per the Size?? Apprx. Year?
They are Appx. 28" x 1 1/16" x 3/4"

I think from what I can see of the picture that the rims are Dunlop style rims . Try a 700 or 622 tire on them. Not racing rims .

They look like Dunlop clinchers, not G and J

ummm - kind of guessing you will not find a history of clinchers being used on the race circuit .....I am not saying that they were never used - but as weight is a factor with all racing bicycles ( even during the TOC ) I think you will find that Sew ups reigned, Still a fairly rare find my friend. You should despoke and straighten that rim though.....also a picture of the joint would be nice.
