On Training Wheels
I captured this tricycle that was my wife’s as a kid. I would like to restore it but want to make sure it’s not a waste of time. I have searched the wed but can’t find it. What seems to be different is that it’s not made of “tubing” but rather flat/square. I do see a sticker on the front that says “Midwest”. I think it’s a 10 in front wheel and 8 in on the back. What do I have?!?!? Can anyone help???

If it has sentimental value then OK. If you are looking for any ROI then a hard "No". This is a '60s trike with minimal collector interest or value.
Looking for the best place to get parts. If it is a 10 inch then maybe the Red Ryder parts look like they might fit. I can get a whole 10 inch trike for $60 on Amazon use those parts to make it usable? Definitely need tires and seat at a minimum. Thank you for your insight!

If it were me I would carefully clean and preserve what you have and just try to find a good front tire and maybe a seat. You'd be surprised at how well that will clean up. Just be very careful and don't get too aggressive. There are plenty of cleaning tips in the restoration section of the forum.

Great! Thank you!

It's made by Midwest Industries. They did things a bit differently. Cool square metal frame and great fender graphics. Very 60's. Should take a 12" front tire. Check out eBay or put a wanted post here. Probably won't be able to find a white wall but you can paint them on. Unusual trike. Good luck
