Bikephreak

Finally riding a big boys bike
Okay,
I am still stuck on my Dayton project... It is a 1918 Model 172. It has a one-piece crank. All the parts I have are labelled "8", & has been called a bayonet style w/the "DAYTON" chain wheel. I need the adjustable cone & locking nut for the non-drive side. Can anyone help me locate these? I appreciate any assistance.
Thank you very much,
Jim

A picture would help, but look at the 1938 Island Cycle Supply reprint to see what other old bikes used whatever size and threading you need. Cones with loose balls are pretty forgiving so as long as the threads match you should be OK.
