Looking for complimentary or matched bars and wheels for a ca. 1900 tandem. It is going to be rider - crusty is ok but they need to be sturdy. Prefer all-wood wheels but may also be interested in 28" clad/steel rims.
Alternately, I have also been looking at the Sacro Bosco 'Roubaix' rims but would then still need 28" spokes and (ideally) period hubs.
I noticed the Roubaix included tandems in its applications- would like the wheelset to bear the weight of two tall riders with ease (the Amsterdam tires on the Iver Johnson posted today look nice too )
