What's the measurement between the holes? There were two common sizes on prewar Schwinns, a tall and a short, but both were ovals. I think they are 2 7/8" or 3 3/16".. something like that.

I think the common sizes you refer to (tall, short) were both vertical hole orientation.
I am looking for horizontal, the oval is short, but the holes are horizontal.

I don't have these for sale but have seen them on prewar Schwinn bikes in the 20's and 30's. They are what you are calling the small oval. Barry
