Skidding on my '41 Schwinn Autocycle
Just picked this up at an estate sale last week. Any info on what year and model? Can anyone I.D. these handlebars?Thanks! Tim

Thanks for the emails and PM's, but the bike is not for sale. I could use a front fender though if anybody has one!
 
Serial number is from 1940 on the prewar lists I've seen.

Check the bars to see if they're marked Torrington and if they're 26" wide. They look like the short horn bars shown in the 1940 Torrington catalog.

Tim, The rear fender looks to be original to the bike. The paint and pinstriping match perfectly. What would be the correct front fender? The Autocycle/ B6 type with built in switch and light, or a plain fender with a Delta Silver Ray? Thanks! Tim
