Yosemite 1920s(?) The Bike Through Tree

Not a very nice thing to do to an ancient tree. Don't quite think that's what John Muir had in mind.
 
I think there is a walk through tree from the 1800s at Calaveras Big Trees State Park near Arnold. Not as bike friendly as Yosemite. Not even sure if bikes are allowed on the big trees trail there.

there's also a drive through tree near Garberville,I think it's called the chandelier tree.was up there many years ago and a couple hippies got their VW camper bus stuck it.guys were trying to pull it free from front and back and no luck.I told the guy to let the air out of the tires and try again.came right out.then the trek into town with 4 flat tires.LOL.
