Finally riding a big boys bike

DG April 1971 pea picker. All I did was use mothers chrome polish and a micro fiber, you can tell I haven't taken it apart, still grime behind the back caliper and the hubs on the wheels! Here's the scoop, previous owner painted the frame black in the 80's to match the goofy rally seat. The original paint is under the rattle can black, picture shows it shining through. (Your job to save this baby!) The good: chrome shines real nice and is bright and has never been "hazed" with steel wool. Cables look darn near NOS! Nice original decals on the shifter. Rear fender, no dents or dings and really shines great. The rear wheel is the 71 non stamp and is really really nice with no curb dings or dents and no brake burn, hub is nice and greasy as is the spoke protector. Rear caliper hasn't been polished and still has a nice original shine to it. Mag sprocket shines real well front and back, and has one tiny scratch towards the teeth (pictured) front atom wheel shines great with no dings or dents! Original 71 dated superior. Springer is decent but has some scratches and a tiny bend on one truss rod on chain guard side, can be straightened out (pictured)The bad: front fender has some weird little dings and misshaped towards the front (needs to be rolled) the rear stingray slik has a little nick in it, still holds air (pictured) the chain guard is nice and has a really hard to notice ding on the E in pea, but you have to run your hand down the guard to feel it. But the chrome on the guard is awesome and it's real straight. Real nice start to a cleannn bike. Good 71' parts for that rusted out grey ghost with nice paint [emoji33] Got any questions? $1000 shipped
