Agree ... why harass ... simple straight forward question on a very iconic common Schwinn in this case

I wasn’t trying to harass but just cut through the BS. The answer is yes a front brake was offered but what if this has a SA on it? With pics we could easily determine what is correct and what isn’t. I’m out

Question for the experts. Did the Schwinn Phantom 49-59 come from the factory with front drum brakes ?

Yes, the Phantoms could have been equipped with front drum brake if it was on the factory order sheet. And it could also be added by a dealer since they were an optional accessory. Clic on link below.
