I emailed the guy and asked for some close up pictures of the chainwheel, hubs and rear sprocket. Ugh i really dont need another project but that front rim looks great! I'll post up any pictures he sends me

here are a few of the pics he sent me...going to try to escape from family time this weekend to take a look at this.
