Finally riding a big boys bike
W181911 / K11 is a Woman's Sports Tourist Victory bicycle, Model VG296. The frame was made November 1943, and the bicycle was built up in the same month. The red paint is the original color scheme, and it has the original saddle.
It is the ultimate Victory bicycle. By this point Westfield were building them using 'Blackout parts, where previously chromed items (Handlebars, hubs etc.) were now not chromed, and painted black instead. These bikes were supplied without badges (no badge holes, and the W in the serial number represents the Westfield make), This bike still has the wooden grips and pedals which is fairly rare.
