Another bike from the Morphy Vegas auction. The bike was listed in the auction as a '52 I believe but I could tell by the way it was equipped it was likely a '49 model. For '49 you could upgrade to the Phantom style (no rivet) saddle and lit rear rack. The bike is also equipped with dual drums. The only option it doesn't have is the chrome fork legs which were available that year. The tank is absent its decals but it had the small script "Schwinn" tank decals at one time because I can see the ghosting. I'll probably take this one apart this winter, service it, and give it a good detailing.
